Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026 · Operated by Miru Group LLC

Miru Group LLC (“Miru,” “we,” “us”) operates Miru, a restock-alert service for trading card products. This policy covers the website at mirumon.app, the Miru web app at app.mirumon.app, the Miru mobile apps, and the alerts we send. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

The short version

Information we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

Subscription and payment information

Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe on our website, and by Google Play or the Apple App Store in the apps. RevenueCat keeps track of subscription status across these stores for us. We receive your plan, its status, its dates, and which store it was bought through. We never receive or store your full card number.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or files. We do not collect retailer account credentials or payment cards, and we do not place orders on your behalf.

How we use information

Advertising

The free plan of the Miru mobile app shows a banner ad served by Google AdMob. Pro subscribers see no ads. The web app and this website show no ads.

Ads in Miru are non-personalized. Every ad request asks for ads that are not based on your activity in other apps or on other websites. The Android app does not have permission to read your device’s advertising ID, so it does not pass that ID to AdMob. Ads are limited to content suitable for teens.

To serve ads, measure them, and prevent ad fraud, Google AdMob collects some information directly from the app: your IP address (which can indicate your approximate location), device and app information, interactions with the ad such as views and taps, and diagnostic information. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy; see also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

We never give the ad network your email address, phone number, account identifier, watched products, or alert contents. To remove ads, upgrade to Pro.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in these cases:

Text message (SMS) alerts

Text alerts are opt-in. If you turn them on, your mobile number is used only to send the one-time verification message and the restock alerts you subscribed to. Message frequency varies with restock activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the providers that deliver the messages for us. We keep a record of each opt-in and opt-out for at least four years, including after you delete your account, as proof of your consent choices. See our SMS Terms for details.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website and the Miru web app use no advertising or analytics cookies. The sign-in page sets cookies needed to keep you signed in, and the web app keeps a one-time sign-in code in your browser for the duration of a single sign-in. Because we do not track you across websites, we do not change our practices in response to Do Not Track signals.

How long we keep information

Your choices and rights

Rights under US state privacy laws

Depending on where you live, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access, correct, or delete it, to receive a portable copy, and to opt out of its sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell, share, or use your information in those ways. We honor these requests from all users, wherever they live, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

To make a request, email support@mirumon.app from the email address on your account, or use the in-app controls. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your written permission. We respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying with “Appeal” in the subject line.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Phone numbers, email addresses, and webhook URLs are encrypted with dedicated keys, and access is limited to the systems that need it to deliver alerts. Payment details are handled by Stripe, Google, and Apple and never reach our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information, and we will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.

Children

Miru is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Where information is processed

Miru is offered in the United States, and we store and process information in the United States.

Links to retailers and other sites

Alerts link to retailer websites and apps. Those sites are run by other companies under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes here with a new “Last updated” date. For a material change, we will also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
